The U8 (8 and under) Soccer Academy is for boys and girls wishing to augment their AYSO Core (in-town) soccer experience with additional training that will prepare them for travel soccer. Training will be provided by an FC Somers trainer at Reis Park or Van Tassel in the fall and at Carmel Sports in the winter.

Separate girl and boy teams, that will play in the Westchester Youth Soccer League will be formed late fall/early winter.  Play for this league in the Spring is on Sundays.  Teams will play in the 7v7 format.

Registration for the fall U8 Academy is $295 for Somers residents.  The fee covers fall training sessions, an FC Somers t-shirt and car magnet.  There will be an additional fee for winter space rental, winter/spring training, team registration and team fees once teams are formed.
