COACH EDUCATION  All coaches are expected to continue their coaching education beyond the minimum requirements of WYSL 8-hr Coaching Course or AYSO U12+ Certification.  Educational opportunities open to coaches include:

NSCAA   The WYSL NSCAA Coaching Course, run by Red Bulls,  is the first step for parents wishing to coach a team.  More information can be found under the “coaches”, Westchester Youth Soccer League.  NSCAA also offer additional courses for further development.

AYSO  National Coaching Program, accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Coaching Education (NCACE). Coaches obtaining U12 or higher certifications can lead a team to AYSO National Games, tournaments and league play. Certification programs are free and usually held locally.  More information.
